Meet Andy Matthew – Founder of Kool Dominica Tours

With over 20 years of experience guiding visitors through Dominica’s breathtaking landscapes, Andy Matthew brings passion, knowledge, and deep local roots to every tour. Trained in electrical engineering, Andy began his career in the power generation industry before turning his part-time love for adventure into a full-time pursuit. Andy hails from the village of Laudat — the gateway to some of Dominica’s most iconic natural wonders, including the Boiling Lake, Freshwater Lake, and Titou Gorge. His deep connection to the land shines through in every experience he creates.

What began as Master Taxi and Tours

Has since evolved into Kool Dominica Tours, a brand that better reflects Andy’s vision: delivering authentic, adventure-filled experiences across the Nature Isle.
